Nicknamed the “Pagoda” because of its slightly curved hard top that reminds people of the roof of Pagoda temples. The pagoda was a Mercedes Benz SL model built from 1963 to 1971. It was designed by the Legendary French designer Paul Bracq who designed some of the iconic 60s and 70s cars from BMW, Mercedes, and French car makers. The scene in the design seems fitting.
Fun Fact: Paul Brack is also behind the Mercedes “Stroke Eight”, the 600 Pullman, the BMW 1600ti, the 6 Series Coupe and his BMW Turbo concept that later inspired the legendary M1 Supercar.
